德国政坛的中国谋士——辜学武教授，现任德国波恩大学政治学与国际关系学终身讲座教授并兼任全球研究中心主任，同济大学国际与公共事务研究院院长，政治学与国际关系学讲座教授，是迄今为止唯一在德国社会科学领域获得德国最高级别教授（C4/W3)的华裔科学家。
    辜学武教授一九八二年毕业于武汉大学图书情报学院 (现信息管理学院), 获文学学士学位; 一九八五年获科隆大学文学硕士学位;一九九一年获波恩大学政治学博士学位. 一九九一至一九九八年任教于德国佛莱堡大学政治系, 任助理教授; 一九九八年通过德国终身教授资格考试，随即任特立尔大学政治学代理讲座教授; 一九九九至二零零二年任波恩大学欧洲研究所资深研究员. 二零零二年出任德国波鸿大学政治学终身讲座教授并兼任东亚政治研究所所长。二零零九年十月，辜学武教授将应德国波恩大学之邀出任政治学终身讲座教授，执掌该系国际关系教席并组建波恩大学全球研究中心至今. 在此之前, 曾任美国加利福利亚大学伯克莱分校 (一九九五), 美国哈佛大学(一九九五) 和英国倫敦政治经济学院(二零零二) 访问学者.

    辜学武教授同时还兼任波恩大学欧洲研究所资深研究员, 上海同济大学国际与公共事务研究院院长，同济大学全球变化与可持续性发展研究院首席科学家，政治学与国际关系学讲座教授，意大利米兰天主教大学国际关系与经济研究生院客座教授，德国外交学会会员, 德国政治学会会员, 德国华人教授协会主席。

    辜学武教授的主要研究领域是国际关系理论, 儒家文化的普世性问题，中国外交与安全政策, 亚太地区能源安全和欧亚关系, 共发表四部专著, 三部合著和近一百篇论文. 其中 ”国际关系理论导论”已成为德国许多大学国际关系学专业的推荐教科书。



Prof. Dr. Xuewu GU
  Prof. Dr. Xuewu Gu is the Chair in International Relations and Director of Center for Global Studies of Bonn University since October 2009. He is also a Chair Professor in International Relations, Dean of the Research School of International and Public Affairs, and Chief Scientist of the Research School for Global Change and Sustainability of the Tongji University in Shanghai since 2008.
    From 1991 to 1998, Dr Gu served as Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Freiburg. In 1998, he was appointed the Acting Chair of East Asian and Pacific Studies at the University of Trier. In August 1999, he joined the Center for European Integration Studies of University of Bonn, acting as Senior Research Fellow directing the "Europe-Asia-Programme". In October 2002 Dr Gu was appointed the Chair of East Asian Politics and Director of the Institute of East Asian Politics at the Bochum University where he worked to October 2009. He is Chairman of the Association of Chinese Professors in Germany, member of the German Council on Foreign Relations, and member of the German Society for Political Science.
