个人定位:
Positioning是一个营销学术语,代表了你唯一独特的位置对于目标受众中。定位不是宣称出来的,而是争取和积累来的。为了在目标人群中实现你的position,你必须提供足够证据来支持证明你自己陈述的位置。 Positioning is not just a slogan or an image. It is not good intentions artfully stated. It is, instead, a well supported argument than articulates just a person is different from its competitors.
开始做定位时,我们先来做些测试:
头脑风暴:
1. Professional
What aspects of your current study have you found most exciting?
In which areas of your study do you excel? Where do you fall short?
Do you consider yourself a good researcher?
2. Preferences
Do you prefer working as part of a team or as an individual contributor?
Are you more interested in quantitative or qualitative work?
3. Future interests
What are your professional dreams?
Are you more interested in research or industry?
4. Collegiate
What academic areas intrigued you most as an undergraduate? How have some of these interests carried over into your future?
What sort of academic knowledge or skills did you develop in college that you think might serve you well once more when you enter the xxx program?
5. Personal
If we asked a friend for three adjectives they felt best described you, what would they be and why? How did your friends describe you?
Of what aspects of your personality of characters are you most proud?
What are your greatest personal shortcomings?
What characters traits do you most admire in others? Which of these qualities or attitudes would you most like to adopt yourself?
