Internship Opportunities @ Bell Labs Research China<br /><br />Bell Labs Research China provides internship opportunities for undergraduate<br />, graduate students and Ph.D. candidates.<br /><br />In BLRC, you will enjoy favorable practicing conditions, work with the most<br />talented researchers and engage in frontier research fields. So far, more<br />than two hundred interns from top universities have finished their practice<br />here.<br /><br /><br />Intern Positions:<br /><br />1. Boomerang project: 1 intern (Urgent!)<br /><br />Description: The goal of Boomerang is to develop an application for testing<br />and optimizing voice transmission over IP network.<br /><br />Requirements:<br /><br />(1)Strong experience in VC++ programming<br />(2)Experience in network programming<br />(3)Experience in voice processing algorithms and C/C++ codecs<br /><br /><br />2. SIP-based VoIP Applications: 2 interns (Urgent!)<br /><br />Requirements:<br /><br />(1)Project experience with C/C++ programming under Linux<br />(2)Knowledge of SIP/RTP is a plus<br /><br /><br />3. Internet Karaoke: 1 intern (Urgent!)<br /><br />Requirements:<br /><br />(1)Project experience with Java network programming<br />(2)Knowledge of multimedia is a plus<br /><br /><br />4. GMPLS: 2 interns<br /><br />Requirements:<br /><br />(1)Experienced in C and Java programming<br />(2)Knowledge of GMPLS and optical networking<br />(3)Experience in Vxworks is a plus<br /><br /><br />5. Embedded MapWeb application: 1 intern<br /><br />Requirements:<br /><br />(1)Experience of application development on mobile phone or PDA<br />(2)Familiar with J2ME/JSP/HTML/WML<br /><br /><br />6. SIP Performance Evaluation: 1 intern<br /><br />Requirements:<br /><br />(1)Proficient in C/C++ programming under Linux<br />(2)Knowledge of protocol performance testing is a plus<br /><br /><br />7.
