插入语及插入句的用法
　　插入语为英语的一项特殊语法项，在各种考试中屡见不鲜，由于插入语通常与句中其它成分没有语法上的关系，因此理解起来有一定的困难。插入语多半用逗号与句子隔开，用来表示说话者对句子所表达的意思的态度。插入语可能是一个词、一个短语或一个句子。
一、常用做插入语的副词
indeed的确， surely无疑， however然而， obviously显然， frankly坦率地说， naturally自然， luckily (或happily) for sb.算某人幸运， fortunately幸好， strangely奇怪等。
例句：
1. Surely， I will keep the secret for my whole life.
当然，我会一生保守这个秘密。
2. Strangely，he hasn’t written to me for half a year.
　奇怪，他已经有半年没有给我写信了。
3. Fortunately， we didn’t lost our way in the deep forest.
　幸运的是，在深林中我们没有迷路。
二、常用作插入语的介词短语
in a few word简而言之， in short简而言之，in other words换句话说， in a sense在某种意义上， in general一般说来， in my view在我看来， in his opinion按照他的看法， in fact事实上， in the first place首先， in addition此外， of course当然，to my surprise使我惊奇的， to her regret使她遗憾的， for instance / example例如等。
例句：
1. Of course，we will never give in to villainy.
　当然，我们永远不会向邪恶屈服。
2. In fact, he didn’t leave the city at all.
事实上，他根本就没有离开这个城市。
3. In the first place, we must build up confidence.
首先，我们必须建立自信。
4. To my surprise, Tom passed the English examination.
让我惊讶的是，Tom竟然通过了英语考试。
三、常用作插入语的分词短语
strictly speaking严格地说， generally speaking一般地说， judging from…根据……判断等。
例句：
1. Judging from his letter，a campaign against “white pollution” has been undertaken in his hometown.
根据他的来信做出判断，一场DIZHI“白色污染”的运动已经在他的故乡展开了。
2. Strictly speaking, he is not a professional athlete.
严格地说，他算不上一个职业运动员。
四、常用作插入语的不定式短语
to be sure无疑地， to sum up概括地说， to tell the truth老实说等。
例句：
To tell the truth, I don’t like your plan.
老实说，我不喜欢你的计划。
五、插入句
I am sure我可以肯定地说， I believe我相信， I wonder我不知道， do you know你知道吗， you see你明白， I’m afraid恐怕， It is said据说，I suppose我想等。
例句：
1. One day， it is said， Newton saw an apple fall from a tree.
　据说，有一天牛顿见到一个苹果从树上掉下来。
2. He will promise to present at the meeting, I suppose.
我想，他会答应在会上发言的。
插入语在英语中占有很大比重，同学一定要注意日常的积累与记忆。
