华东师范大学国际关系与地区发展研究院（SAIAS）是以国际关系与区域问题为研究方向，承担国际关系领域硕士、博士研究生培养任务的实体性高级研究院。研究院的研究侧重点为俄罗斯与前苏联东欧国家研究、欧盟与欧洲国家研究、日本研究，以及与之相关的大国关系、跨大西洋关系、社会转型、国际关系理论与思想史研究等领域。

　　研究院下属的机构包括：俄罗斯研究中心（教育部国家人文社会科学研究基地）、欧洲研究中心（与欧盟合作的我国欧洲研究骨干机构）、东亚研究中心（与NEC合作）、地缘政治与能源经济研究所（与国内外有关机构合作）、国际关系理论与思想史研究中心（与日内瓦高级国际研究院合作）等研究部门，以及办公室、网络资料部与《俄罗斯研究》杂志、《亚欧通讯》编辑部。 　　研究院以研究与教学工作的高层次、开放性与国际化为宗旨，承接研究与培训项目，提供咨询服务、引进优秀人才，推动国际合作与交流。 　　研究院实行院长负责制。现任院长由教育部社会科学委员会委员、中国欧洲学会副秘书长冯绍雷教授担任。

　　About SAIAS 　　Orientated to research in international relations and regional issues, the School of Advanced International and Area Studies (SAIAS) of East China Normal University is an advanced research institute dedicated to training and educating M.A.and Ph.D. candidates in the field of international studies. 　　SAIAS focuses its studies on Russia and the former Soviet Union and Eastern European socialist countries, European Union and Japan as well as such related areas as great power relations, social transition, international relations theories, international history and intellectual history. 　　Institutions affiliated to SAIAS include: the Centers for Russian Studies (a national key research base for humanities and social sciences under the Ministry of Education of PRC), European Studies (key European studies institution in collaboration with the European Union), East Asian Studies (in cooperation with NEC),Crisis Management, the Institute of Geopolitics and Economics of Energy (in cooperation with relevant institutions both at home and abroad), as well as the Center for International Relations Theory and Intellectual History Studies (in collaboration with Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva). Besides, SAIAS also has a General Office, an Internet Resource Division, and an editorial board for Russian Studies Journal and Asia-European Studies Bulletin respectively. 　　Aiming to bring its research and teaching to an even higher level, and with openness and internationalization as its guideline, SAIAS is committed to undertaking research and training projects, offering consultation services, bringing in excellent talents and facilitating international cooperation and exchange. 　　SAIAS is headed by the Dean, Prof. Feng Shaolei, member of social sciences commission of the Ministry of Education, and deputy secretary general of Chinese Society of Europe.
