Ⅰ Agriculture in world

Agricaltul trade is a world wide economic problem, it affects the basic life of the people. There are 100 million people can not get enough food everyday, and 164 thousands people die of hunger, and 40 thousands of them are children. The high prize of agricultural product decrease the demand of the food in many developing contries and caused the hunger. Madagascar hopes WTO to do their responsibility to establish the new agricultural trade system which is fair for all the people arround world.




Ⅱ Agriculture in Madagascar

The main industry of Madagascar is extractive industry, over 80% of the population do geoponics for living. But the income of extractive industry is only 1% of the gross domestic product(GDP) http://www.invest.net.cn/News/economy/agriculture/Madagascar.html

. And the main agricultural products in Madagascar are rice, clove, and coffee. The central issue that obstruct Madagascar agriculture is technology. The level of mechanisation are low and needs to be raised, and also the basic establishment in Madagascar such as road and irrigation works.




Ⅲ Delegate policy and solutions

Madagascar hopes to eastablish a new agricultural trade system which is fair, and also free. Decrease the impost tax to lower the prize of the agricultural produts, then stimulate the damend, raise the food supply. It protect the profit of export-country, and also have the food problem resolved. Madagascar also expect the developed contries could cooperate with the developing contries, commit themselves to develop the level of basic establishment and the Agriculture mechanisation, apply themselves to learn from others's strong points to offset one's weakness, Madagascar hopes the new system of agriculture could eliminate the hunger and bring the human being eudaemonia.
