</p><p>《男人们的大和号》改编自边见Jun的同名原着小说，本片的制作费高达二十五亿日圆拍摄，由于制作角川春树表示电影使用CG特效会没有真实感，因此他不惜耗资日币六亿重新打造了长190公尺、宽40公尺的大和号。电影由日本名导佐藤纯弥执导，反町隆史、中村狮童、渡哲也和铃本京香等多位实力派演员合演。 </p>

<font color="#47372a">剧情中有几幕镜头特别得到了观众的共鸣，大和号最后一次出征前，大和号的船员们被允许在出击前上岸，他们都知道这是最后一次上岸了：母亲仍强忍眼泪让儿子赶快吃自己做的牡丹饼；几位士兵拍照留念，并嘱咐照相馆的主人一定把照片送到各自家中；小艇上的士兵看到了岸上的妻子，发出了忘情的叫喊。 <br />　　电影的最精采之处是大和号被命令到冲绳执行特攻任务。当时大和号既无飞机护航，也无返程燃料，是一次有去无回的神风突击队式的特攻作战。当时船上的船员也为是否值得出击发生了冲突，但是最后都统一“为了国家和天皇”应该牺牲的旗帜下，船员们开始了死的准备，一名船员发出的撕心裂肺的“妈妈”的呼喊，令全体船员为之动容。两天后，大和号遭到美军大批飞机攻击，开始了最后的战斗……战争场面宏大，看到此处几乎令观众屏住呼吸，根本没有人吃零食和来回走动，都被电影深深吸引。</font>
