一、学历与校内职务
1978—1988年就读华东师范大学，1988年获历史学博士学位。1997年聘为教授、博导。曾连任华东师大法政系两届系主任、华东师大国际问题研究所所长，政治学一级学科带头人。
2004年底被同济大学法政学院人才引进，聘为同济大学国家哲学社会科学创新基地首席教授、政治学科带头人、法政学院副院长、院长，同济大学国际政治研究所常务副所长。
二、社会主要兼职
2001-2005教育部政治学教学指导委员会委员、全国高校国际政治学会常务理事、中国政治学会理事、中国行政学会理事；
国家安全政策委员会特邀研究员、中央台办、国台办特邀研究员。上海市委台湾工作办公室第一、二、三届咨询专家委员会委员；
上海政治学会常务理事兼秘书长、上海国际关系学会常务理事、上海行政学会副会长（1995-2008）、常务理事、上海市台湾研究学会常务理事。华东师大兼职博导。
三、主要研究方向与主要研究成果

国际政治、政治发展与政党政治、当代社会思潮、当代资本主义研究等。

共12部，主要有：《19世纪英国功利主义比较研究》、《资本主义的昨天与今日综合比较研究》、《当代资本主义国家文官制度》、《资本主义历史进程》、《当代世界政治经济与国际关系》、《国际政治学》、《比较公务员制度》等。

发表论文近100篇，主要有：《当代资本主义生产方式新变化》、《世纪之交日本社会右倾现象探析》、《Chinese Vitality and the Challenges of the 21st Century》、《马克思‘世界历史观’与全球化问题的理论思考》、《试析伊拉克战争与大西洋联盟危机的基本特点与性质》、《多极化格局与中国外交的理论思考》、《朝鲜核危机问题与美国、东亚主要国家立场分析比较》、《战后发达国家社会道德教化一般特点及其启示》、《解读责任政府的两项主要目标：民主责任意识与全面责任制度》、《政治文明建设：构建社会主义和谐社会的政治保障》、《发展两岸关系的新思路》、《党的执政理念与执政能力建设》等。

五、获奖情况
《国际政治学》曾获上海市哲社优秀成果著作三等奖、上海市高校优秀教材二等奖；《当代资本主义生产方式新变化》获上海市邓小平理论研究优秀成果论文二等奖、《世纪之交日本社会右倾现象探析》获上海市哲社优秀成果论文二等奖。《中国和平发展、台海危机与每美日安全合作》获国家安全政策委员会颁发优秀论文奖。2006年获包钢优秀教师奖。
六、指导研究生情况
1、自1990年指导硕士生，已毕业并取得硕士学位学生29位；在读7位；
2、自1997年指导博士生，已毕业并取得博士学位学生20位；在读8位
（包括同济大学6位在读博士生、华师大2位还未参加答辩的博士生）



Resume Professor Zhou-Minkai
   1978-1988 studied at East China Normal University, received a master's degree in 1985,doctorate degree in1988,appointed Professor and doctoral tutor in 1997.
   Served as Head of Department of Law and Political science, academic leader of Political science ,East China Normal University (1995-2001), The director of Institute of International Studies, East China Normal University .(1998-2005)
   Personnel was introduced to the college of Law and Politics, Tongji University, by the end of 2004, and appointed the chief professor of the country's 985 innovation base of philosophy and social science, academic leader of political science ,vice president and executive  president of college of Law and Political science , executive deputy director of the Institute of international politics. Tongji University.
   Served as a member of the Steering Committee of political science , Ministry of Education,(2001-2005); executive director of the National University International Political Science Association, director of China's political science Association , director of China’s Institute of Administrative Sciences; Researcher at the National Security Policy Committee, Researcher at the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council. Member of the Advisory Committee of Experts of Shanghai Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office; executive director and secretary of Shanghai Political Science Association, executive director of Shanghai Institute of Administrative Sciences, Vice-President (1995-2008). Executive director of Shanghai Institute for International Relations;
   Part-time doctoral tutor of East China Normal University, Part-time professor of College of Shanghai Foreign Trade.
   Major research fields: international politics, political development and party politics, contemporary social thoughts, contemporary capitalism.
   Main academic results:
   12 academic books and teaching materials, mainly: "A Comparative Study of British Utilitarianism in 19th-century," " Comprehensive Comparison Study of Capitalist Yesterday and Today", " Contemporary World Politics Economy and International relations ”,”international politics "," comparison on the civil service system "
   Nearly 100 academic articles, mainly: "the new changes in the contemporary capitalist producing mode ”,”The right-wing forces of Japanese society at the turn of the century", "Chinese Vitality and the Challenges of the 21st Century", "Marx 'world history' Theoretical Reflections and Globalization "
   Completion of Research topics "Research on the history, current situation and development trend of extreme right-wing forces in Western Europe, Japan"(The Ministry of Education); "To expand the C.P.C's resources"; "Research on promoting inner-party democracy-building and enhancing the vitality of the party's innovative research" ;
   Academic Awards: three “ Second prize” of the Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science, Research on Deng Xiaoping Theory, excellence textbook of Shanghai. Outstanding Teacher Award by Bao Steel.2006.
