标题: “退休年龄”英语怎么说？——人社部称退休年龄暂不调整
人力资源和社会保障部有关负责人表示，的确在对“延迟退休年龄”展开研究以为国家提出相关建议，但进行政策研究不代表现行退休年龄规定即将更改。事实上，早在2005年，当时的劳动和社会保障部就进行过此类研究。

当前法定的退休年龄是男职工年满60周岁，女干部年满55周岁，女工人年满50周岁。从事井下、高空、高温、繁重体力劳动和其他有害健康工种并在这类岗位工作达到规定年限的职工，男性年满55周岁、女性年满45周岁退休。近期仍按此标准执行。

A policy to delay the retirement age is under research but it does not mean the current regulation will be changed soon, an official of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security told People's Daily on Tuesday.

Some countries have extended the retirement age to adapt to demographic changes and the increasing age level of the population. But China, while having an aging population, still face employment pressure, so a policy change requires cautious consideration, the official said.

周二，人力资源和社会保障部的官员向《人民日报》透露，延迟退休年龄政策研究并不表明现行规定即将更改。这位官员称，为了适应人口的变化以及人口老龄化水平的提高，一些国家已经延迟了退休年龄。我国虽然也面临老龄化问题，但是同时也面临就业压力，所以政策的更改需要慎重考虑。

【讲解】文中的retirement age即指“退休年龄”，“延迟退休年龄”可以说成delay the retirement age, 也可以说成 defer/extend/raise the retirement age，“提前退休”可以说成early retirement。其他一些相关词汇有“养老金、退休金”pension，“弹性退休金制度”flexible pension system，“人口老龄化”英文可以说成population aging。
