Dr. SHEN Hongfang, female, born in Shanghai in April 1953, is a professor at Research School of Southeast Asian Studies, Xiamen University while Senior Fellow at Key Research Center of Southeast Asian Studies, co-directory by Ministry of China’s Education and Xiamen University. She is also a Concurrent Professor at Finance Department of Economic College 2003 onward and Ford fellow (first cohort) since 1999.

So far, Dr. SHEN has undertaken several important research projects and written three books and about 200 papers, most of them were in Chinese and published in China, some papers were in English and published in the Philippines, Thailand,Singapore, India, Malaysia and Japan. Philippine Chinese Newspaper “World News” reprinted many of her papers.
