WANG Qin received his PhD from Xiamen University, China. He is currently Professor of Economics and Director at the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, Xiamen University, Vice Director at the Research School of Southeast Asian Studies, Xiamen University, Adjunct Professor at the Institute of APEC Studies, Nankai University. He teaches international economy, the economies of Southeast Asia, world economy and China. His main research interests are in the economies of Southeast Asia, regional economic integration in East Asia, China-ASEAN economic relations and Singapore’s Economic Development.
Professor Wang publishes widely and currently has more than 200 Journal articles, monographs and books under his name. His book Publications, as a single author, include Study of International Competitiveness of ASEAN (2007) and Study of the Economic Development in Singapore (1995).
